I quite like imitating other poets, and then removing all traces of the influence until it's purely my own. You almost did that here, apart from the last two or three words, and the title. Nor am I particularly original in doing this.
I like that, too. We're all thieves, I guess, sometimes covering our tracks, sometimes not. The Bob Dylan album "Love and Theft" (the quote marks are part of the title) explores this in some interesting ways.
Physics - or interchangeably, magic - both drugs and wakes us
Thank you, Patris -- yes, the yin/yang integration of physics/psychics
It’s a multilayered world I think
This poem is for morning people I think. ☺️
I’m happy waking up in the afternoon. 🙃
Haha! I tend to snatch sleep whenever I can -- usually insufficiently!
A soft breath. A finger pointing there. There! Both words and captivating images.
Thanks, Gary

Or rather the subtitle.

Yes. I even took something from a Beatles' lyric and turned it into a poem. I think I called it 'Act Of Homage'.
Beautiful, looks like wintery clouds.
Thanks, Mike
Cumulative clouds collect on horizon’’s brow. Silent shadows reach down sail’s remain tied. Storm maybe on the way. No word’s necessary.
Thanks, Richard. I try to use the photos to entice people to read the poems. I kind of agree with you though.
Watching cloud confetti fall out of the sky…Ah! What’s more beautiful here—the words or the images?
Hard to say, Jonathan.
Thank you, Ann. (See my response to Richard.)
Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you, Mark
Oooh. Good one!
More than imitating, your appropriating. His form but your voice. I fully approve.
Many thanks, Ron -- I appreciate your generous assessment
This line says it all, “With its first breath, morning has spoken things”!
Thank you, Stan
“With its first breath, morning has spoken things.”, nothing more needs to be said.
Great lines and words match images !
Thank you, Karen
