Looks like winter still reigns where you are. Here in southern, we had frost again overnight, but today has been glorious. and warmer weather is in the forecast. Spring has finally arrived in these parts!
I read these poems, Jonathan, and looked at the pictures as I did so, and the first thought that came into my head when I had finished was: "The lion's mane of the sun holds these moments together." (I just changed your words ever so slightly) Great to see a re-run of this memorable and well-presented sequence!

I’m just doing some reruns from winter 2024.
This is gorgeous. Nothing but.
At least these are punctuated.

This is delicious, Jonathan. The rising sun - always a fascination for us (or at least for those of us who are early morning people!)
Having lived with hunter gatherers, I'm sure this is something implanted deeply in our genes.
And birds, too..... I don't know about your part of the world, but birds here call out the dawn...
Best Wishes - Dave :)
'The lion's mane of the sun
holds this moment together.
The turbulence of the joy
above and the love below'
lovely throughout, Jonathan
I love the movement of the poems and the photographs. So rich.
In just 10 minutes, all of that glow! Thank you for sharing it
Exquisite, Jonathan. Thank you.
