I love Jung so much and in so many ways that I don't know where to start.
But frankly, I got lost in the poem and the sacrament of offering french fries to a pastor on the street, who tries to resist temptation, but unlike Jesus in the desert, succumbs to the fragrant penumbra. We all have our limits when faced with temptation.
....And if you should survive to a hundred and five
Look at all you'll derive out of being alive
And here is the best part, you have a head start
If you are among the very [Jung] at heart
lol thank you Broo

I had to look up penumbra.
Thank you, Jed. As an aside, there’s a San Francisco novel you should check out: Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore. A fun read.
I read it! Didn't realize penumbra was a double entendre at the time. I thoroughly enjoyed that book. And that is unusual for me.
