What are you using to put together the hexagram? That looks like plastic tiles you slide in? An elaborate self made hexagram recorder. Hella cool. Have you played with The Total I Ching? Feel free to ignore, bit early and the coffee just 🎯

I was just free associating a different turtle -- infinite regression. But the i ching reading also alludes to a magical tortoise, which is what I was trying to incorporate into the poem. Maybe that's closer to the native american image. "The magic tortoise is a creature possessed of such supernatural powers that it lives on air and needs no earthly nourishment." (p. 109)

Wow, that photo. Love the blast of red-orange making its way all the way to those beautiful leaves. They turn starlight to glucose, and you turn glucose into poetry, which turns symbols into feelings in me. Thanks for your part in our conversations with the stars.
