What are you using to put together the hexagram? That looks like plastic tiles you slide in? An elaborate self made hexagram recorder. Hella cool. Have you played with The Total I Ching? Feel free to ignore, bit early and the coffee just 🎯
Thanks for this! For my first 20 years of I Ching I used the classic willhelm Haynes, karcher is who I've been using for the last 20 ish years😸Total I Ching https://a.co/d/eN6OOAN
I was just free associating a different turtle -- infinite regression. But the i ching reading also alludes to a magical tortoise, which is what I was trying to incorporate into the poem. Maybe that's closer to the native american image. "The magic tortoise is a creature possessed of such supernatural powers that it lives on air and needs no earthly nourishment." (p. 109)
Wow, that photo. Love the blast of red-orange making its way all the way to those beautiful leaves. They turn starlight to glucose, and you turn glucose into poetry, which turns symbols into feelings in me. Thanks for your part in our conversations with the stars.

Turtles all way down. Turtle earth is Native American term for earth.
