I especially like these lines:

"To where many mythic meanderings and musings run

Down rabbit holes when the game is afoot."

I like how the syllables sound on "many mythic meanderings and musings."

Absolutely right. The syntax and verbal cross stitch of this piece are incredible, but its acoustic properties really push it into masterpiece territory.

I've read it myself and then finally listened to your delivery, Jonathan. I think I'm being lulled to sleep by your haunting repetition of "deep in the dresser, deep in the dresser." If the goal of poetry is to make me feel, yours is a very successful poem.
