Great Los Angeles poem and some fancy poetry foot work with the "dozzina (double sestina)."

This makes me feel at home. Thank you, sir. This beauty reminds me of one of my favorites I wrote a while back “take my song to the coast “.

We take the Starlight every summer from LA to San Diego to see the horse races. DeMar is located within walking distance of the train station. It’s always a pleasant family outing.

A few years ago the trip back from Delmar was a nightmare. Someone fell off the train at one of the stops. I think in San Juan Capistrano. Been up near Irvine a day tree had fallen on the tracks. We are on the plane for about three hours until the tree was removed. But we made a lot of friends! Lol!

A wonderful tribute. Indeed, nothing will be as it was before. Cherish the memories, treasure the now.

This is my chosen home, and you've honored it beautifully. Especially this:

Let the angels of now bless the prize of this life

Because nothing will be like it was before and we could use

A miracle and nerves like raindrops starting to flow.

The city is coming back to life a little bit, but for those directly hit it’s an impossible and long recovery. I know at least 10 people who lost their homes. It was such a freakishly wild event. One that I think will become more common as the planet continues to be cooked.
