Jonathan! I checked past Saturday’s mail and Yes! Got it! Delighted! (is that a haiku?). Thank you - for it and your inscription. It’s now a treasure xx
Unfortunately, once mail crosses the border into North Carolina, it is placed on slow-moving mule, who stops frequently to reconsider its destination. . .then moseys along in absolutely no hurry. Very much looking forward to it. And yes to a Zoom reading--that would be great fun!
hahaha! Actually, we had a very conservative senator here in North Carolina who claimed that we did not need a new state zoo—we only needed to put a fence around Chapel Hill! A wonderful place to be alive.
No worries! About the Zoom reading: it depends on the day, but yes – that'd be an event worth attending.
Thanks, Mark
No word here in states there even a postal strike in Canada. So much for news media blues overdue info.

That’s encouraging, thanks Patris

I'm picturing a donkey loping down to a little cabin at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

I got it in the mail! I am delighted and look forward to savoring your poems in print.
Thank you, Emily, I'm glad it arrived!
Also regarding Zoom readings, yes. But if I can't attend live, I wouldn't mind a recording.
That's possible, thanks, although I might prefer to destroy the evidence.
