My long travel day and the winter blues left me longing to lie with you without my shoes, my naked feet bumping into yours like lines on the street disappearing under broken lights, like an unrehearsed magic show, like some word I can't quite remember but am sure I know quite well. Quite well, my love, quite well. Like I love you. Like Je t'aime. Like you are and like I am as we navigate the morning bells to catch the sunrise and the train, smiling through the sudden pain.
Absolutely wonderful. Perfect ending. (And may you soon find your way back to her.)
