Six Haiku at Sunrise 1. Wires stretched across the horrible beautiful sky, sending love and hate. 2. Utility pole, electric crucifix, stands in the blood-orange air. 3. Globe willow next door, revived from traumatic death, buds in the sunrise. 4. My neighborhood sky stretching to infinity, blue, orange, pink, gold. 5. The sun itself clears the cold horizon and shoots its rays through bruised clouds. 6. My window open, the cold morning air strangely suffused with warm thoughts.
These are tremendous! I love the way they all fit together. The way you share your visions of the morning sunrise is such a gift.
Wonderful! These fit so well and flow together nicely that they could be combined together in different combinations for an interesting variety of ways to read them. Haiku's have never really been my speed but these were really tempting me to try my hand at them.
