Block and tackle pulled off line to tumble down to ground level with a bit of loss of connection. Fiber optics bend’s light but it gets dark just the same.
Wonderful! These fit so well and flow together nicely that they could be combined together in different combinations for an interesting variety of ways to read them. Haiku's have never really been my speed but these were really tempting me to try my hand at them.
Colorful pictures, colorful poem.
Yes, where is this?
I don’t see it. I’m sure Jonathan must know.

Thanks, Stan
Perfect!
Thank you!
Excellent series of haiku. I really like that second one - great line about the 'electric crucifix.'
Thank you, Neil
“Utility pole,
electric crucifix, stands
in the blood-orange air.
3.
Globe willow next door,
revived from traumatic death,
buds in the sunrise.”
The daily resurrection. So vivid.
Thanks, Patris
Another group of stunning photos with their stories told through 6 beautiful haiku!
I thank you six times
(I was blocked from re-stacking this with the quote, Jonathan)

I've noticed that, occasionally, too. The quirks of Substack.
Wow Jonathan! These are awesome. The pictures. The haiku are just beautiful! Well done dude!
Thank you Jenny!
These are tremendous! I love the way they all fit together. The way you share your visions of the morning sunrise is such a gift.
Many thanks, Mr. McBride

Thanks, Daniel. Yes, give it a shot!
So good. One alone would work, but the series together might be my favorite poem of the year.
I appreciate that, Mark. Thank you.
Beautiful images and beautifully captured in these haiku.
Thank you, Arjan
What a wonderful haiku, Jonathan.
Day after day you prepare these lovely sunrise poems, yet you never seem to run out of fresh imagery.

Bravo, Sir!
