photo/poem
I absolutely love “like a prisoner and a visitor.”
You're kinda lucky, Jonathan, because this particular prisoner will never get out on parole, so will always be there to meet you. Nice poem!
What a mug shot. I will add to my cup of coffee and get on with the rest of today’s workout.
Having volunteered in prisons for over 20 years, the power of “like a prisoner and a visitor” hits harder. Visits from the outside can be life-giving to those locked inside.
Oh that analogy works so well...we are trapped here and the sun comes and goes...it filled me with a kind of sadness, though.
Heart wrenching
And on a cloudy rain-soaked morning the prisoner stays locked in her cell.
I do love when the sun shows up.
Beutiful thought, Jonathan.
