You're kinda lucky, Jonathan, because this particular prisoner will never get out on parole, so will always be there to meet you. Nice poem!

Having volunteered in prisons for over 20 years, the power of “like a prisoner and a visitor” hits harder. Visits from the outside can be life-giving to those locked inside.
