Perfect poem for these times. I just told a kid yesterday there was something about the sun that made it feel like spring was coming even though the temp was in the 30s.

Nice poem. I could picture the situation. Beautiful photo. Excitement for a new sunny day.

Spring will come spring will come spring will come ... The old woman prays as she rocks, wrapped in granny squares and chenille bathrobe.

Wherever there is. As if stanzas are separate selves... Killer last stanza.

I like this poem! It conjured up a February day from my memories...minus 35 Celsius at noon, standing in brilliant sunshine in danger of sunburn.

Thank you, Bob. I’m finding this episode of winter to be conjuring more than the usual amount of memories, too.

So good, Jonathan! (I know I am coming to this one late, but glad I got here.) Truly felt that winter chill blast through and that silly sun wearing all of it's promises, yet not getting the job done! Oh, yes, felt that winter chill and sun's betrayal. Thank you for "we're all in this together and we'll get there"! Definitely needed that to shine!

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜
